I received an email reminding me I didn’t outline my top neuro-immune tools for you…so here it is!

If you’re feeling wired, run-down, or can’t shake stress lately you’re not alone.

The nervous and immune systems are deeply connected.
When one is off, the other follows.

Over the years, I’ve tested countless ways to bring both back into balance in myself and in my patients.

Here are the 8 tools I keep coming back to again and again to recharge my brain, calm my body, and build resilience from the inside out:

1. Rewire your brain + calm your nervous system

Apps: BrainTap + Innercise
These help retrain your subconscious mind and shift you out of fight-flight-freeze-fawn mode so your body can heal instead of react.

2. Portable PEMF therapy

Resona Health makes my favorite portable PEMF device.
It’s helped me and my clients reduce pain, anxiety, and gut issues — I even ran a Lyme study on it, and 9 months later most participants still use it daily because “it just feels better.”

3. Red light therapy

Red light placed over areas of pain, swelling or acupuncture points can lower inflammation, anxiety, and even blood pressure.

I rotate between Kineon Move PlusNovaa Lab pad, and Flex Beam depending on the area I’m treating.

4. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

Tapping on acupuncture points while processing emotions can calm the nervous system and release stored tension, fear, or cravings.

5. Qi Gong

Combines breathing, visualization, and gentle movement to build energy, restore focus, and improve mobility when you’re fatigued.

6. Tai Chi

Perfect for lymph movement, pain relief, and grounding when you’re feeling puffy, achy, or emotionally overloaded.

7. HRV Tracking (Heart Rate Variability)

I’ve cycled between Oura Ring and Whoop to track my recovery from the day and workouts. Right now I’m using the Whoop.

If I’m not taking time to reset from life’s stress, eating in a way that’s not supporting me or not sleeping well my HRV will drop. HRV is the best way to track what your nervous system is up to and if your interventions are working.

I’m beginning to think this may be more useful than tracking hormone levels throughout the month.

I use them for 1–3 months at a time, then take breaks to lower EMF exposure as tech tools work best when cycled.

8. Peptides

When deeper repair or recalibration is needed peptide replacement therapy can be beneficial (here’s a few of my faves, there are a ton more out there):

  • BPC-157 – gut + tissue healing
  • TB500 – joint and muscle recovery
  • DSIP – sleep support
  • Thymosin Alpha 1 – immune boost
  • ARA-290 – for pain, neuropathy and reversing neurodegenerative conditions
  • SS-31 – for mitochondrial (energy boosting support)
  • GLP-1s (like Tirzepatide) – metabolic reset in microdosed, short cycles

Your nervous and immune systems are constantly in conversation.

When you support one, the other thanks you.

Curious where your nervous and immune systems might be stuck and what you can do about it?
