I want to tell you a story, not as a doctor, but as a human.
At 47, I wanted what most women want from their health:
to be pain free, drop some extra weight (especially belly fat), have steady energy, think clearly, and feel good in my body.
And I truly believed I was doing everything right.
I was counting macros. Eating clean. Working out. Meditating. Using red light therapy. Taking electrolytes. Microdosing bioidentical hormones.
Yet the pain lingered. I stayed puffy. The weight wouldn’t move. My brain felt foggy.
Each day, I felt more frustrated and honestly, more ashamed.
I kept asking myself questions I never expected to ask:
“How can you help others if you’re struggling yourself?”
“With all this education and research, why isn’t this working?”
That’s when I realized something critical.
My problem wasn’t effort.
It wasn’t discipline.
It wasn’t a lack of tools.
It was the disconnect between my brain and my body.
I was chasing generic outcomes and ignoring my nervous system. I’d meditate for ten minutes then spend the rest of the day living in fight-or-flight, pushing through discomfort, judging my body, and spiraling mentally.
When I started focusing on restoring that relationship not forcing results everything changed.
The pain softened.
My sleep improved.
The weight began to come off with the help of macrodosing peptides.
And for the first time in decades, I felt safe and at home in my body.
This experience reshaped how I approach health and why I’m even more fired up about what I do today.
Healing doesn’t happen when you follow rules written for someone else’s body.
It happens when you restore your own relationship with yours.
That’s the foundation of the 2026 Health Optimization Community I’m building for people who are done doing all the things and ready for results that actually last.

Here’s to doing health differently,
