Her husband was cheating, she was pregnant and just 30 when she found out she had Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
She was relieved to have a diagnosis to explain her symptoms.
In a way a diagnosis validated that she wasn’t crazy.
But she’d heard the stories of what MS can do to the body and it terrified her.
She was on disability and had moved in with her mother.
How much lower could she get?

A bit in denial and not getting direction on what to do for her health other than medications Karen found herself drowning her sorrows in potato chips.
Knowing that wasn’t a permanent solution for her she took matters into her own hands and researched what others with MS were doing to thrive.
Day by day she started implementing dietary changes, exercises and journaling.
She felt better but wasn’t sure what was happening internally because she was having reactions to all her meds and finding it difficult to tolerate them.
Just when she thought her neurologist was going to say there was nothing left they could do to help her…
…he told her that her MS was in remission.
The reactions were because she no longer needed her medications!
Over the course of the next few years her efforts started paying off, she returned to work and naturally started coaching others on their health.
Having so much fun coaching others on their health Karen started her MS to Success program.
Now Karen Dwyer is helping clients all over the world put their MS in check!
And because of our friendship I’m a monthly speaker in her MS group!
I recently sat down with her on my podcast to talk all about her journey with MS in hopes we could spread the word a bit more on the possibilities for remission of symptoms.
Karen gets real in the podcast and dives into the not so glamorous sides of MS and her fair share of ups and downs.
This interview is inspiring for anyone working hard to improve their health but a great one to share if you or anyone you know is struggling with MS.
Chronic health and autoimmune conditions are on the rise and accelerating aging faster than you can imagine.
There are many gurus out there touting “their way” of working with certain conditions paired with strict diets and lifestyle protocols.
What if we’re all unique in healing and a little wiggle room is necessary?
Karen is the master of that and talks about not completely eliminating what you love – for her it’s having her cake + chips and eating them too.
Her MS to Success program is a lot of fun and I’m proud to be a part of it.
If you or anyone you know has been diagnosed with MS – do check out Karen’s comprehensive program where you’ll learn what works for you on your terms to support you on your MS journey.
