You can’t make sex hormones & stress hormones at the same time.

The longer you’re stressed or stuck in cortisol resistance….

…the less hormones you’ll make in general.

Having a low libido isn’t uncommon these days.

In fact, I have lots of 20 year olds in my practice struggling with this phenomenon.

Thanks to the media low libido = low testosterone in the minds of many.

For women, low libido is actually low estradiol!

It’s horrifying to see SO many women + men being put on testosterone at anti-aging or functional medicine clinics without even a mention of dealing with stress.

Or they’re given an adaptogenic herb blend to check that box.

Along with the dozen other supplements to cover the rest of the bases.

You can’t get your libido back without dealing with stress first.

And hormones will not balance unless you help the body regain cortisol balance.

How do I know this?

I’ve tried forcing the body to “de-stress” by using bio-identical hormones.

Progesterone is a prime example, as it’s calming and soothing to the nervous system but it can’t do it’s job if there’s cortisol resistance.

Not too long ago, I became really frustrated with myself, wondering why I was sucking at finding certain people the right balance of hormones!

It’s now clear what I was overlooking in the realm of hormone balancing.

Sadly, trying to convince clients that a cortisol reset is needed before bio-identical hormones can be challenging.

I want to be clear that I’m NOT saying that bio-identical hormones are not beneficial.

They absolutely are and I do believe they can help with longevity and quality of life.

After the stress response is balanced!

If you’re on bio-identical hormones and not making progress, feeling worse or thinking they aren’t working, now is the time to get the stress in check.

Hit reply if you’re a current patient or we haven’t talked in a while.

I’ll guide you to getting you back on track.

If you’re curious about bio-identical hormones and how they may benefit you…

…make sure you get a saliva cortisol test as part of your hormone testing.

Without knowing where your cortisol is at, you can’t reset it.

Once it’s reset, you’ll FIND your libido again.

It may take a few months but it’s there…

…waiting for the right time.

Don’t forget that cortisol and inflammation go together.

If you’re struggling with inflamed joints, organs, nerves, allergies, brain or in general these symptoms will slowly resolve as your body’s response to life’s stress lessens.

Keep in mind, no one can take away life’s stress.

It’s how you perceive it and think about it that allows you to build resilience to it.

A true stress reset involves diving into your brain wiring.

Sound like a lot of work?

It’s do-able and absolutely worth it to get the most out of your hormones and restore your libido.
