I’ve been noticing a fascinating pattern in my clients lately.
Many women develop pain in joints above or below where their lymphatic flow is congested.
A current case that’s been interesting…
- One client with chronic Lyme has pain that shifts from her left ankle to her knees and shoulders.
- Her thighs and upper arms are much larger than her calves and forearms.
- Cellulite is heavy in the upper arms and thighs, but not the lower limbs.
- Her lymph nodes are swollen in the groin, armpits, and neck.
- She can’t sweat and is struggling to lose weight—even on Semaglutide.
This isn’t random. It’s a sign her lymph is blocked and not draining.
And I keep seeing this pattern repeat itself.
Here’s what’s working:
🌿 Lymph + fascia release oil (I use Vibrant Blue Oils but you can make your own blends)
🪡 Acupuncture + myofascial release in-session
✋ Acupressure homework + essential oils for at-home care
The results?
Mobility improves, pain decreases, and almost every client reports an urgent need to use the restroom, proof that lymph is moving.
Want to try it yourself? Here are 3 key acupressure points:
- Stomach 12: Just above your collar bone on the nipple line. Tap, hold, or rub x 60s each side.
- Heart 1: Middle of the armpit—often very tight. Press or tap x 60s each side.
- Spleen 9: Inside of the lower leg, just below the knee. Tender = congested. Tap or press x 60s.
Pro tip: Add essential oils when pressing/tapping for an extra boost. I love Grapefruit + lemongrass or lime + clove.
Do these daily and you’ll feel pain shift as your lymph flows again.
I geek out on this topic so much that I dedicated my podcast episode to it this week.
