Looking to spend down your HSA/FSA accounts or give the gift of health?
Here’s my 2024 list:
1. Red light therapy still rules
I love 3 brands Novaa Labs, the Flex Beam and MitoRed Light Therapy.
Novaa Lab Pad is my go-to for a larger area to treat and because of the heat – I like to fall asleep with it at night.
Flexbeam is a stronger targeted red light therapy device that is portable and you can wear. I like this for tendonitis, knee pain and other joint pains.
MitoPro Mobile is great for waking up the cells and targeting the face as well as traveling due to it’s compact nature.
2. Gifting personalized gift baskets
Magazines everywhere are showing gifts curated for one’s hobby and interests… why not create a basket for your “health junkie” friends and family? Not feeling creative? – I’ve placed many of my go-to protocols for many scenarios in the online supplement dispensary Fullscript – for a traveler in your life you could gift the “Healthy Travel Kit” or the family “Sunscreen and Aftercare” kit or check out my “Winter Wellness Kit”.
If you’re wanting to curate a basket based off my fave products here’s the list below:
Living The Good Life Naturally Magnesium – the Magnesium Muscle Creme and the foot soaks are my long term favorites for chilling out, relaxing muscles and tested in my office to increase cellular magnesium levels – use the code: HEALTHFIX
Troop Mushrooms – got someone who doesn’t like pills? Get them the gift of the best mushroom gummies out there – from brain boosting to immune strengthening these gummy treats are my favorite.
Have a tea fanatic in your life? Check out Happy Whole You’s delicious teas – their Skinny You is yummy and fights bloat big time – use the code: DRJKRAUSE. I also love Fusionary Formulas Teas – especially their Sleep Tea

3. What about giving the gift of good food?
I’ve used Thrive Market for my pantry staples for 4 years now and I love not having to search for things like coconut milk to coconut aminos and avocado oil (not common finds in the middle of Wisconsin!), with regular sales and “Thrive cash” you can earn bonus items each order.
Butcher Box is where I’ve sourced my meat for the last 5 years. They’ve come a long way since their beginning days and I love the flexibility they offer with specials and add ons.
4. Gift cards for local massage, acupuncture, spas and medi-spas are always fun!
If you’re in the South Sound area of Western Washington – I’ve curated my fave places and perhaps a gift card or a treat for yourself may be in order for to try out my friend’s businesses:
Nurse practitioners Shannon Keenan and Kara Scanlan from Empowered Med-Spa are my go to referral for Empower RF, a radio frequency treatment to help with incontinence but Shannon’s also skilled in functional medicine, does IV therapy and more!
Looking for a massage, waxing, peels and skin care all under one roof? Check out Justine Allen’s Tend & Spruce
Wanting to try chiropractic but looking for a gentle approach – look no further than my pal Dr. Kristen O’Leary at Uplift Chiropractic
Curious about lymphatic drainage massage or thermal breast or body imaging (thermography) to assess total body health? My pal Lenna Shepard at Attainable Health Solutions will take great care of you and she also does skin care too!
If you’ve been hanging out with me for a while you know I love acupuncture and since I’m not in the Tacoma area as often as I used to be I refer to Dr. Melinda Morrison at Gentle Touch Acupuncture – she took over my acupuncture practice and was trained by me for almost a decade!
I love talking about non-toxic, green and clean brands – if you know of any companies I need to check out hit reply!
If you’d like to see all the things I use and stand by head to my website for the complete list – HERE
Here’s to a happy and healthy holiday!

Note: I do get an affiliate commission on many of the products I’ve listed in this email. That means if you click on and purchase from them I get a little money. I don’t promote anything I don’t use myself. As a medical provider I do not collect commission from fellow medical providers, these are the gals I’ve referred to for years because of how well they care for my clients and get them results.
